Hand Painted Leather Children’s Belts

Our hand painted, leather childrens belts can be made in 4 different designs. Black with dolphins, brown with pumas, red with flowers and tan with polar bears, The full grain leather is cut, dampened, embossed, dyed and then painted by hand.
As these belts are made for children, we make them out of 2mm. thick leather (instead of 3mm) which is a little softer and therefore more comfortable, though still strong. They are 2.5cm. wide with small buckles, also for comfort. Make your choice from the photos above and click it in the drop down box at the bottom of the page.
Now you need to measure your child’s waist to determine the belt length, please follow the instructions also at the bottom of the page.
If you want something a little more special for your youngster, we’ll emboss his or her name on a belt. You can choose the colour of the belt and the colour of the letters (see the two examples below. DAVID blue on tan and LAURA white on red). In general the name will appear on the belt four times.

These are the colour choices for the letters. They are painted in by hand using acrylic paint. This paint does not wear off. We’ve had adult customers come in with our hand painted belts that were purchased more than 10 years ago, still looking good.

Sorry, but no buckle choice on any of these children’s belts. Gold coloured buckle and rivets are the finish. All belts come with one fixed keeper or loop (as shown), and one free moving.
When measuring for your child’s belt, bear in mind what clothes they’ll have tucked into their jeans or trousers, it makes a big difference. If you can find an old narrow belt, put it around them and mark where the belt and buckle cross. Take this measurement and place it in the box marked Belt length. Bearing in mind that they grow pretty quick, we’ll add a good overlap and put plenty of closely placed holes for comfort and growth. If you can’t find an old belt, use a tape measure to find an accurate waist size and we will calculate for growth. To keep these prices so much lower than an adults belt, the maximum length of these belt can’t exceed 25 inches or 64cms.
