Our Handmade, Leather, Extra Wide Belts are 7.5cm. wide. They are made from 3mm. thick cowhide, and there’s a choice of six different colours. There is only one style of buckle, but it comes in solid brass, or nickel plate over solid brass. The photo on the left below, shows a nickel buckle on a black belt. The photo on the right shows a brass buckle on a tan belt. You can make your buckle choice at the bottom of this page. If you’re interested, click About Leather to see how we make belts.
Look how snug the fit is. On waist or hips, this belt angles in and hugs your natural shape, even though it’s 7.5cm. wide. Wear it tight or loose, it looks good either way.
To get this natural angled look, we have to put the buckle on at a very unnatural angle.
As usual you can choose from six colours. Choose from the colour chart below, you will be asked to make your choice at the bottom of this page.
Measuring for this belt is a bit difficult, so you’re best to do it with the aid of the photos below. You will need a tape measure, it doesn’t matter if you measure in inches or cms. as long as you remember which, when you fill in the Belt Length box.
Remember, if you’re going to wear this belt over a heavy jumper at some point, it’s better to take your measurement while you are wearing that jumper. If your going to wear it on your waist,measure your waist, not your hips. Don’t pull the tape measure too tight. The two photos above show a waist measurement. The two photos below show a hips measurement. I need to know your waist or hip size only, I will calculate the overall length. Once you’re happy that you’ve got the right measurement, you can enter it in the Belt Length box at the bottom of the page. If you have any problems please click Contact Us.
