A common misconception, as portrayed by various animal rights activists, suggest that all pythons are hunted and killed only for their skin, this is not true. Pythons in South-East Asia are farmed, like cattle, and traded for food and traditional Chinese medicine as well as for their skins. The European fashion industry accounts for a large percentage of the python skin market, with the main importers being Italy, France and Spain. Pythons have beautiful, extremely durable skins. As long as the breeding of these snakes is controlled and humane, why waste them.

There is a €8.00 surcharge for shipping orders outside of Europe. If this applies to you, please make your purchase and then return to the site with the "continue shopping" button and use this button to pay the surcharge.

Snakeskin in general is very thin but very strong. Most companies glue the skin onto cardboard, rubber or some other synthetic material to give it some bulk. Our python skin belts are made by gluing and stitching the python skin onto full grain cowhide for maximum strength and durability. These belts will last forever. You can buy them with a traditional type buckle or a handmade python skin buckle. All the belts on this website have postage and packing included in the prices shown for delivery within Europe. There is a surcharge for delivery outside of Europe which you can see and pay (if applicable) at the bottom of this page. If you’re not sure, email us. There are no hidden extras. THE PRICE YOU SEE IS THE PRICE YOU PAY

You have to take a measurement to determine what length your new belt will be. whether your old belt is a bit too long, or a bit too short, take a measurement from the hole that you're using now to the tip of the buckle. This measurement lets me calculate the correct length of the new belt. You can take this measurement in centimetres or inches as you will be typing this figure in later. Do not go by the number on the back of your old belt, manufacturers sizes vary. Even waist sizes on jeans or trousers can be inaccurate. The best way to measure for your new belt is to measure your old belt. Remember, measure from the hole that you use now to the tip of the buckle.
